I'm baffled. Where is all the professional/comercial level software for the PET/CBMs? I've searched the WEB and Ebay and have found nothing; not one program. Yes, I've found the amateur game programs like the ones on this site, but nothing professionally or comercially made. Commodore must have created software for the PET/CBM. The PET/CBM series ran from 1977 to 1986 (9 years). There must be software for at least the business computers. Where is it?
There is still plenty of software available for the VIC-20 & C64 (I know, there were millions of them sold compared to the PET/CBM). But, the PET/CBMs were being sold during the same time period, so age can't be a factor. Does anyone have any information concerning Commodore's development of software for the PET/CBM? If so, please let me know.
Thanks.
PET Software. Where is it?

The problem is that the Professional PET software was relatively expensive and sometimes locked down by hardware (i.e. required a chip to be inserted into an open socket on the motherboad). Also, the while the PET dominated the early industry, there wasn't much of an industry!
The bottom line is that notable amounts of PET commercial software was sold, however the volume pales in comparison to the C64 products.
We have much comercial PET software in our inventory (sorry, not for sale) and we have sourced most of it from donations and auction sites like eBay.
I suggest you look at:
1: post a WANTED in our BUY/SELL/GIVEAWAY forum
2: check vendors like http://www.centsible.com/ . Although they do not post much of it Centsible has (in the past at least) had some notable PET product.
3: eBay
I hope this helps!
