1520 Printer

Post by wildtiel »

I bought a Commodore 1520 graphics printer off of Ebay a few days ago. I am already well studied up on what it is capable of, how to work it, etc., but I do still have one question. Say, when I get it (I don't have it yet, this is just in case), one or two of the pens are dried up or do not work. How easy is it to recharge one of these printer pens? Where could I buy replacement pens? And, Is it possible to make my own pen for is using a gel or fluid ink pen? Thanks a lot!

Actually, they are ballpoint pens.

To the best of my recollection, nowhere these days.

I suppose it's possible. Just buy ballpoint ink refills and cut them down to size.
