This months Spotlight Page tells the story of the amazing Commodore 128.
January 2015 marks the 30th Anniversary of the C128 announcement at CES Las Vegas and July 2015 is when the very first units started to sell at just $300 each (that is $146 in 2015 dollars!). Even today that is cheeeeeeeeeeeeeap. It ran ALL of the wildly successful Commodore 64 software but also provided advancements in its "128" mode. While Jack Tramiel had left Commodore at this point, he was the one that ordered the machine be built and this was trully a legacy machine to be proud of.
