NOS Commodore 64 GS (C64 Games System Console, no Keyboard)

Post by doobie »

Hi I have come across a New Old Stock C64 Games System (Console)
I'd like to keep it but being NOS I'd rather it go to a collector or museum.
I also have a non NOS one which I will keep for myself for gaming.
(These were only sold in Europe and later recalled as they did not sell well)

I have some interested parties and was wondering how much would it be worth. It is NOS with box, manuals, seals intact, even the silica gel bag.

Regards

D.

If the box was mint and it was a US model (different power supply) you could get $150 to $200 USD for it. Thats assuming all cables are still factory wrapped and never opened, etc. US collectors tend not to buy European models though, mostly because of the power supply and sometimes printing on the box differs.

They are not really worth that much. Your best bet would be to save it another 10 years when its more of an antique. Wrap it in a white towel and store it in a plastic tub.

Of course we're interested. Why not just post the link here?

This is a commodore enthusiasts website, and you have a great commodore collectors item. I'd love to see pictures.

Absolutely Gorgeous System!!

I wish I had it, too bad they do not have a US 115 Volt version, though I am tempted to bid on it anyways as it looks very nice.

You are already getting high bids for it, and usually the highest bidders wait to the last second to snipe it. You should get a good price.

Thanks... I am quite suprised at how high its got but lets wait and see.
As they hardly come up hypothetically I could sell another next month and get hardly nothing for it...

It should be compatible with the US Power supply for the C64 sold over there... ? Surely you can find these regularly... and cheaply?

So it takes a standard C64C power supply then?

Though it looks like it will sell for too much money for me. Its already almost $200 USD, plus would cost alot in shipping for me.

Still I am tempted to bid, it would be the most unique and rare item in my collection.

very rare indeed as they were never sold in the US

I was assuming they took the US power supply - though you could have one made up easily no doubt

This item sold for nearly $700 USD.

4 times the price I thought it would go for.

Congratulations to the lucky winner.

I really want one for my collection, just doubt I would be able to pay as much as you could get from eBay.

I am so jealous of the lucky winners.

I would be interested in hearing about the highest bids you are getting, maybe I will be able to compete, so if you can email be I would appreciate it.

I dont want to post my email address to avoid spambots, but contact me at webmaster@ email address from the link in my signature.
