I'm sure I'm not the only person who preordered this after reading the first volume of Brian Bagnall's revised book on the history of Commodore. However, despite it being two weeks past the date of availability for the book, there's no sign of it anywhere. Booksellers still list it, but have it marked as unavailable or yet to arrive.
Has something happened to Brian Bagnall or to Variant Press?
What's happened to 'Commodore: The Amiga Years'?

It is following the same pattern as the earlier books, i.e., a date is announced, but then the date is pushed back indefinitely. Until I have a firm date, I myself do not announce the book's availability.coldacid wrote:However, despite it being two weeks past the date of availability for the book, there's no sign of it anywhere. Well, I've found a bit more information. Independent Publishers Group is listing it and other Variant Press titles, with an updated release date. But after this delay and the implication this has happened before with the first volume, I'm going to take the new date with a grain of salt.
I just hope that by the time it comes out, Chapters/Indigo won't have lost my preorder!

I don't imply; I state a fact.coldacid wrote:...the implication this has happened before with the first volume...
