Commodore Pricing on Ebay is Nuts

$1000 For a NON-Super SuperPET: Notice from the pictures that this unit does not have the SupetPET daughterboard or switches. Yes, I notified the seller of this and they promptly thanked me for the information but did not change the auction:

$40 for a semi-common C64 Manual:

$35 for a very common Commodore PET manual:

$800 for a very common Commodore PET 4016

On behalf of all Commodore collectors, I hope these sellers get what they are asking for... If so, my collection just quadrupled in price :)

Until this year, I had never seen a PET 4016. It was uncommon for me.

For insurance purposes, I had to estimate my collection. I don't think I gave a very good estimate, because there is too much stuff!

Truly,

Hi Robert;

4016's (in Canada at least) are probably the most common model. They were everywhere because the School systems often bought thousands of units.

My first PET was a 4016 and it is sitting about 2 feet behind me right now. It was/is a great machine.
