Bleh, I thought of a hack-ish way to get data from my PC to my C64...
I'm just curious if anyone here has tried this, but I have some utilities for turning T64, PRG, and TAP files to audio files, and I'm thinking of recording the converted audio from such files via the speaker-out to a tape deck, loading the files into the C64 from the resulting tape, and then saving those files to disk... slow process, I know, but this is just to hold me over until I can get my hands on a XA1541 cable.
Has anyone had any success with this, and any tips? I'm sure I'll just try regardless, but I'm, just wondering.

Re: PC to Datasette Transfer
Well, it works!
I use DirMaster to separate the PRG files from D64 images,
then I use WAV-PRG to output the PRG in tape format to my sound card output.
Sound card output goes to a hifi cassette deck...
Pop tape in Datasette, "LOAD"
After program is loaded, I save to a disk on 1541...
And it all works quite well
I still plan on getting an XA1541 cable, however...
because while this works...it...is...SLLLLLOW

I've tried this and it worked for me, too. i do have one question, though. How do you do it with multiple .prg files for the same program?
