CommVEx v4 raffle prizes

Post by rbernardo »

Never too early to start gathering the raffle prizes for 2008. For raffle, we will have the following:

SX-64
C128 DCR
1581 disk drive (probably our last in storage)
1541 RAMBoards and disks

More to come,

That's a great start! And maybe I can even win one this time! :)

At least you came away with a door prize, IIRC. :-)

Well, not raffle prizes but door prizes this time (the difference being that every attendee has a chance of winning a door prize). Each person will receive a Commodore/Amiga sticker and a disk of CMD utilities from the German GO64! magazine (my thanks to hardware guru, Dirk Klettke, for the latter).

Introduced last year at the Impact of the Commodore 64 event at the Computer History Museum. Approved by Jeri herself. :-)

Forgot to mention. Seen by the Tramiels and Steve Wozniak.

At today's FCUG meeting, it was decided that the smaller raffle prizes, i.e., 1541 RAMBoards and disks, the GEOS/PD Shareware CDs, the Amiga Forever DVDs/CDs, and the Jeri Ellsworth stamps should go at a different tier of pricing. Whereas the big prizes are at 1 ticket for $10 and 3 tickets for $20, the smaller ones will be at 1 ticket for $5 and 3 tickets for $10.

Our club treasurer will have to keep track of which is which in the raffle.
