Hall of Fame is a web site dedicated to "More Than a Decade, Commodore 64 Scene" CD, being constantly under development. Select buttons for the different topics or read the general article about the upcoming CD. Note that this site is a preview of what will be included on the CD, so it is just a fragment of the collection. More material will be added from time to time (i.e. more to come soon). These pages are not speed optimized for slow networks, as it is basically meant to be the hypertext interface of the CD collection and not a web site. If you have any suggestions, questions or if you would like to add something to help me finishing this task, then please drop me a line about it. This site needs your contribution!. I appreciate any kind of help, such as:
  • Identifying people and their corresponding groups in the Photos section if a particular comment is missing or incomplete
  • Letting me know where and when a particular photo was shot
  • Finding photos that could be linked to someone's personal gallery
  • Either sending in more stories, articles and photos (even more than one photo of you) or URLs, where this kind of material can be found
  • Hunting and reporting bugs (false information, bad links, bad spelling etc.)
  • Linking the site to yours
  • Just browsing and having fun :-)

Read more about my needs in the article about the CD project. Now you can download the latest list of collected scene productions also including a standard letter about the project itself and example of how to write the story of your group.

    New since the 07.04.98 update:
  • Famous personalities photo section got a major update. A great number of new photos and internal links have been added.
  • Included is a new site in the links section. This page is called Slashdot and it deals with alternative computing mainly for Linux enthusiasts and advocates, but for other non M$ platforms as well. I recommend this daily updated magazine to people who are sick and tired of the dominance and arrogance of the software behemoth and would like to read articles and opinions of the other side.

    New since the 24.02.98 update:
  • The Project file updated and extended into something I would rather call FAQ
  • More platform independent HTML code (beside the Arial fonts, Helvetica is added), so viewing this site on Linux results much more similar outlook than that of another popular system
  • Acknowledgements
  • Extended e-mailing features, now you are able to write me a letter concerning each section of the homepage by pushing the e-mail link, without having to jump back to the main indexpage.
  • Home links inserted to each section.
  • New interviews photos added.
  • The Party 7 photos from Taper/Triad included.
  • Photos Personalities split into the same structure as the Groups section.
  • New guys added to the Photos Personalities section.
  • The story of TRC&SCS.

The site on BME is maintained by Veres Ferenc a.k.a. Lion of Chromance and the Funet version is made possible by Marko Mäkelä. Without their help you could not enjoy this collection.
