Though a day late to MossyCon, I was still able to demonstrate the Chevy Tech disk. Dave "Lord Ronin" Mohr was not too impressed with the 1988 prices of the cars, i.e., they were still out of his price range.rbernardo wrote:...a C64 disk of "Chevy Tech: the Heartbeat of America".
Ooo, multi-color pics of Chevrolets!

Larry Anderson is hard at work preparing "official" badges for CommVEx v3.rbernardo wrote:Each attendee at CommVEx v3 will receive a C64 disk of "Chevy Tech: the Heartbeat of America". !
Every attendee will receive a keepsake badge, one designed by Larry or another designed by Jay Hamill. Show off your C= patriotism with one of these badges!

FCUG treasurer, Dick Estel, will bring boxes of used 5 1/4 disks to sell for pennies or just to give away.
By the way, that reminds of me of the freebie table at last year's CommVEx. Clark County Commodore Computer Club members set that up last year, and plenty of their free items were picked up. My guess is that they will have another freebie table this year.

Those were passed out on Sunday, in addition to the FCUG newsletters that I distributed to every attendee.I wrote:Each attendee at CommVEx v3 will receive a C64 disk of "Chevy Tech: the Heartbeat of America".
Also on Saturday, R.W. Bivens and John Campbell of Oldergames.com passed out the new game, Silo 64, and the older game, Weird World 2, for free.

CommVEx is not a dead topic... Now that CommVEx 2007 is over, I imagine it won't be long before planning for CommVEx 2008 commences!soupisgoodfood wrote:Anyways, enough posting in the dead topic.
