Here are a couple pictures of my SX-64. You might notice the green led on in the storage compartment, that is for the tv/remote switch. The remote is on top of the SX-64. You can also see the bulky cable I got from Radio Shack for the keyboard.

What do you use the remote for?

I replaced the monitor with a Coby 5.5" TV. The TV has a remote, and I can switch between the antenna (which I mounted a connector on the back of the SX-64) and the AV inputs. The original monitor didn't work very well. This fits in, but I had to remove the FDD controller, which is bad. I hope to get a 1541 short board in there for the floppy. There is a 1541 power supply/transformer mounted behind the Serial I/O card. Eventually, I would like to put a 1581 in where the storage compartment is.

I would have liked to put an LCD TV in there. Coby makes one thats 5", but I couldn't find one locally to check it out. This setup I have now works pretty good.

A TV in an SX-64? Yeah, that's pretty cool. Hell on the eyes though. ;)

Actually, the picture is pretty good. I have it connected to a 19" tv, because even the original monitor (when it was working decent) was hard to read what you type.
