Deleted 450 Spammers

As part of the usual clean up process, we have deleted about 450 accounts used by spammers.
Thanks to Robert Bernardo for his vigilant efforts to keep this system running. GREAT WORK!

It has been overwhelming at times. At first I was trying to ban the spammers, which is a slow, one-by-one process, and then delete their messages. With all the spammers piling in lately, I skipped the banning process and went straight to deletion of the offending messages.

We seem to be getting hammered by fake user sign-ups - has the registration process been compromised?
