Is the Auto-switch box really rare?

According to the rare hardware page, the Commodore Auto Switch Box is: "This product is very unique and very rare."

I have two, both are unused and still in the factory plastic bag with factory wrapped cables.

I can also pick up several more, but not sure if I should. If they really are rare then I will, but for me to find so many in unused condition they just dont really seem that rare.

What do you guys think? Should I stock up on them or are they not really worth much?

I have never held one in my hand. It's rare enough.

They are still being sold.

They are $2.95 and about $7 for shipping.

I bought two, but they are only posting one at a time. So you have to buy one, then wait until they post another in a couple days. The seller has an entire case of them, probably from a bankruptcy auction.
