Commodore.ca: The PET, VIC, 128, 64 & More Forum

My name is Albert Branscombe and I live in Tiverton, Ontario . I bought an Amiga 1000 in the fall of 1986 and used it for about 8 years for amusement and business. It was working when I packed it up in 1994. I also have reams of magazines and whatnot pretaining to the Amiga. Would anyone you know be interested in providing a home for this poor old relic ? Tiverton is about 40 miles north of Goderich, ON on Lake Huron.

Hello Albert,

I too purchased a 1000 back in the day (1986) and have wanted one ever since I sold it back in 1990 to get a 3000 (which I still have I'm in Toronto so I could come and pick up the machine on an upcoming weekend if that works for you. Rest assured, it will be well kept and cared for. I was wondering what condition it's in physically? What all do you have for it in the way of peripherals and such? Software?
