Hello People,

I have found my 'Commodore CHESSmate' chess computer after many years languishing in the back of a cupboard.

It still is working well after all these years. I bought it here in the UK in the mid 1970's I believe.

Size is roughly 10 by 6 inches.

I can find no information anywhere . I cannot even find it in Wiki’ etc.

Could you tell me please; exactly when as it made; how many are estimated to exist etc. Also is it of any significant value ?

many thanks,

John Sealey

Hm, I did some digging and I found one on ebay that ended up selling for 348 Euros with 18 bids. In USD, thats close to $430 or so.
