High Score On Asteroids! :)

Okay, I know I'm gloating, but I scored 219,150 in my last game of Asteroids. Thanks so much for having this game ... It has brought back great memories!

Hi Steve;

Asteroids was my FAVOURITE game on ANY platform. Commodore PET, 64, real Arcade boxes... I even remember cuting class to a buddies house to play just a terible version on his Atari... I didn't care... it was asteroids and I kicked azzzz!

I still play it today and can break 100000 from time to time without sniping. >200K is pretty damn good. I think you should be very proud!

Honestly, yesterday I was up to 237,000 points playing Asteroids, but I stopped the game. The game was getting way too long and I had things to do that I was avoiding.

I've just learned the keys are:

1) Avoid death at all costs!
2) Don't shoot wildly into space, especially at the beginning.
3) Be careful with the tiny space ship. Don't get too aggressive with it.

Anyway, I obviously don't have a life.

Well I am saddend to say that I have played for about an hour and can not crack 100,000 ... I am SOOOO ashamed of myself. I don't know where I went wrong!
