I've read over the documentation numerous times already, and I've searched the forum and elsewhere, and nothing is telling me what I need to know.
Anyways, the type-in cbmlink server, the one that's supposed to be sufficient enough to load the real cbmlink server, is as far as I've gotten. My pc64 cable works properly, and I can load plain.prg to the RAM of the C64, locations 52224-52658.
Now, the next step after that in the documentation is to "type SYS, them the memory address the basic program lists"...
However, where? It doesn't say to hit RUN/STOP or anything...if I followed the instructions in a linear fashion, i'm typing into a screen that says "WAITING FOR COMMAND", and of course, that does nothing when i type that in.
When I hit RUN/STOP, and type in SYS52224, I get a ready prompt, but when I type list, the BASIC program is still in memory...hence, if I type RUN, the BASIC program loads.
So what am I missing here?
