64c powers up, no BASIC

Post by soupisgoodfood »

Well, now that I have a working power supply, my breadbox works...with some fiddling of the power switch.
However, my 64c powers up, and the TV flashes a white bar once when powering on, but it's just complete darkness otherwise. Also, with the datasette hooked up, one of the little rollers just keeps rolling... Does anyone know what I might be able to do about this? My breadbox seemed to do the same thing at one point...

Also, if worse comes to worst...I looked in my 64c and while I can put the breadbox mainboard in... the little brackets for mounting the keyboard seem like they only had the short board in mind...however, I'd prefer to get the 64c working if possible.
Yes, I really do roll blunts on my 1571.
