The April 15-16 Commodore Los Angeles Super Show 2023 is moving forward! Deposits have been sent to the venue! Exhibits and presentations are being finalized; see

For the first time, CLASS will have a class! CBM veteran Marc Rifkin will teach a class on BASIC 7.0 programming on the Commodore 128, the programming goal to build a game (possibly a Breakout clone). For the first time, we will have an exhibit on MorphOS, the alternative to AmigaOS; Dan Lee will bring a Mac Mini G3 with MorphOS running on it. For the first time (and if all goes well), we will have a Mega65 computer on display, the Mega65 being the modern replica of the Commodore 65 which was never released to the public.

Hurrah! The show was a big success! Thank you to all those who came from around California and from Nevada and Arizona! Tentatively, the CLASS of 2024 is set for April 13-14! And with more hours in the show for more Commodore and Amiga goodness!

I had a great time! It was really nice to see the older technology keeping the respect it earned, and is still earning. The presentations were informative and fun. Thank you Robert for all that you did (and that was quite a bit!). I won a raffled C64, and bought a not working C64 from an attendee. It appears that the PLA in the not working C64 is likely the problem. As soon as I develop good soldering skills, I'm going to replace the chip with a new (replica) and install a socket for it.

Thank you once again! And say "Hi" to Ray for me when you seen him.
