How can I build floppy disk from ROMs?

Hi everyone, I have my old, pristine C64 with its 1541 partner in crime. I would like to start using my C64 again but found myself with several blank floppy disks, functioning hardware and all of my favorite ROMs, but without the means for writing the ROMs on disks. I found several really comfortable solutions, like https://blog.adafruit.com/2022/01/18/co ... gKkefD_BwE , on the internet but never tried any; do you have any good recommendation for connecting the 1541 to a new computer (in my case, it is a Macbook Pro)?

Best regards.

Hi,

Do you want to write ROM or floppy images to disks?
ROM (or cartridge) images are not direct equivalent of PRG files found on floppy disks.

I'm using an X1541 cable and with an old Pentium III based laptop with native parallel port and Star Commander software,
but I guess this is not the solution you're after :D

Yes, you are right @LoneWolf33 I want to write PRGs on floppy disks using my computer and for that I am looking for an easy to acquire and use combination of hardware and software :-D ... you can call me lazy but I will not bother to answer because it means too much work.

Thank you for raising the point!
