Early KIM-1 Clone? Or licensed copy? Or …

Hello,
I have come across the KIM-1 in the picture. As you can see, it looks very similar to the original but uses 2 instead of 8 RAM Chips, still has 1K.
I can not find anything about this machine: Who made it and why (why make a clone of a machine that was still out there?). There is rumor that it is made by Swedish company "Digitus" but that's not confirmed.
Has ANYBODY any insight in this?
Best
Armin
