I remember him huffing and puffing to bring his equipment to that show, how he complained how his back was killing him, and then spending most of his time trying to keep his gear running.He liked going to other non-computer Las Vegas shows, too, like the annual National Association of Broadcasters show and the Creation Star Trek Convention (inviting me to the former and showing me where to get cheap tickets for the latter).
Though we had grown distant, I remember how friendly and generous he was in those earlier times.
