I worked on the C64 line (swet shop) in Pennsylvania Factory as a factory maintenance person for 8 months in about 1985.
I moved to Michigan to take a much higher paying job with Ford.

I worked similarly on a factory floor, for Intel Corp., for many years, but I was in Materials and Customer Service. Our org built experimental motherboards, until we bugged them out for production quality. I pretty much now know all the parts (and where they came from) individually, before they're placed on a mobo, lol.
