Hi, my name is Nigel Self. My father was Tom Self. He was VP of Commodore from I think 74-75 to 81 ?
I'm not sure of the dates as I was only 9 or 10 years old when he started.
We moved from England to Hong Kong in 1976 where I belive he was involved with the MOS deal.
I remember the assembly line in a building in North Point.
I had a PET given to me in 1977 and was told by my dad that " I had to learn about and could NEVER sell it!"
We had many dinners with Jack, we even stayed at his Ranch in Califonia for a few weeks.

I would love to hear from anyone that remembers my Dad. Sadly he passed away in 1991 and I am trying
to understand some his life, as we did not get on too well later on.

hi my friend and all my wishes to you and your family...i dont know your father still he made a great partition on the developement of this techonology...my father payed for a commodore pc for me and for an 128...i played with both of the computers...later long and after many years i discovered that i cant play with the matter from the os (operating system) of the common pc..i wish there would been developement to commodore pcs so that i could bring to matter any antmattirial form was to be created from it..long theory but very handy...the main secret of it was the frequency creation of sensors(the very thing that bips and letters are been formed and not only...i lost my father when i was twelve and at the age of 25 i bought another pc to play around...the revolutions we coming one after the other

the quire part is only commodre version of dos can create antimattirial via phone/internet/irc to matter anything so c-skins are not enoughf

Well, I guess that includes me. From late 1983 to early 1985 I was CBM's educational and technical support rep for the state of Oregon. This was handled through CompuTron Business Systems in Portland, Oregon.
