When I first started using the PET around 1981/2 we had only a few
games. One was the classic STAR TREK from Creative Computing, no
mystery there. Looking at your page I also remember Dog Star, Space
Invaders and Dungeon. But there was another that I don't see, let me
try to describe it...
Basically you moved a character (a diamond IIRC) that started off in the middle of the screen. Surrounding you were several layers of "walls", three if I remember it correctly. Enemies appeared at the outside of the screen and attempted to hit you, having to move around the walls to the
"doors" that were left in them. They could also remove a portion of
the wall if they touched it, eventually breaking a new hole into it.
Does this ring a bell?
Just before I left for university, this would be 84/84, some new
students brought in a bunch of much more advanced games, which I had
only seen earlier Toronto (I lived out in the boonies). One of these was a Space Invaders-a-like that had several different waves of enemies -- well perhaps it was more like Gorf I guess. Anyway one of them was quite distinctive, they sat near the top of the screen and shot lightning bolts at you, and the graphics were quite impressive for the PET. I always wanted to know how they did it.
How about this one? Any ringing?

I'm not familiar with many software titles for Commodore PET computers... But you may want to check out the forums at http://www.commodorepet.org/ ... This new site *specializes* in PET's.
