As soon as I get a working car again, I'll be happy to stop in and check it out.
ACUG officially meets on the third Thursday of every month at 7PM. You can find out more info about the group at the new Official ACUG Website at http://www.acug0447.com (I'm the group's "Webmeister"). If you can't make it for the official meeting, stop by there anytime... There's almost always someone there, and they're always happy to "talk Commodore". :-)

For any other questions, just e-mail Lord Ronin at the address that Robert Bernardo posted above (it's also at the bottom of the website).

Commodore/Amiga Network meeting - Jan. 19

Greetings, C= and Ami aficionados,
Especially those in the Los Angeles area or those who plan to visit the Los Angeles area. The second meeting of the Commodore/Amiga Network (CAN) will be held on Saturday, January 19, at 4 p.m. in Castaic (northern Los Angeles area), California. For the exact address, send an e-mail to me at rbernardo(at)iglou.com

Because CAN is starting off as a new C= group, the style of the meeting is still freeform. Talk and demonstrations will center around Commodore and Amiga games and other applications. Other talk will revolve around the schedule of meetings, officers (if any), a CAN webpage, etc.. Anybody with an interest in Commodore and Amiga is invited to join us at the meeting.

Truly,
Robert Bernardo

Commodore/Amiga Network meeting - Feb. 10

Greetings, C= and Ami aficionados,

The third meeting of the Commodore/Amiga Network (CAN) will be held on Sunday, February 10, at 2 p.m. in Castaic (northern Los Angeles area), California. For the exact address, send an e-mail to me at rbernardo(at)iglou.com

Anybody with an interest in Commodore and Amiga is invited to join us at the meeting.

The Jan. 19 CAN meeting was a success with 11 attendees -- 3 or 4 programmers, several into BBSes, one Video Toaster expert, and several general C=/Amiga enthusiasts. We were treated to stereo SID music on Fotios' StereoSID board clone on a C128 and observed a high-powered A500 set-up. Expertsetup brought his modded C64 DTVs for everyone to see and take photographs. At the end, I played some of the Impact of the Commodore 64 videos I had filmed. Though the meeting was to last only a couple of hours, many stayed overtime, several went out to late dinner, and I didn't leave until 12:30 a.m..

Truly,
Robert Bernardo

(If you need the exact address, shoot me a message.) After this meeting, we are going to a bi-monthly meeting schedule, the next one being the second Sunday in May.

At the last meeting, we examined the insides of an Amiga 3000 and an A1200, the latter needing major rebuilding.
