This is Dave Haynie's schedule - (according to Dave)...

"I'll fly in sometime Friday, take a red-eye back on Sunday (sleep on the plane, arrive 5-6AM Monday -- same basic plan I used for years travelling to Germany from Jersey)."

Trouble with the hotel. They told me that they may not be able to provide a fast enough connection for video-conferencing. We may have to fall back to the telephone call-in plan.

In addition to my presentations, Using a Dial-Up Shell Account with the Commodore 64/128 and Games of Psytronik.com, I'll be presenting the new FB-Jumbocart1 (63 games/apps in one cartridge) from Fotios.

I met with Duncan M. of TOGA today. He wants me to bring his flat C128 (a developer's unit?) for Dave Haynie to identify and autograph. Also he wants his European C128D autographed by Dave. More to transport!

It looks as if Jeri is bowing out of CommVEx, due to sudden financial considerations. However, she will still be in the Portland "Master Control" for the Peddle/Herd video conference.

In an interesting development, Nolan Bushnell, the inventor of Pong and the founder of Atari, is on the "maybe" list to attend CommVEx.

The Fotios' FB-Jumbocart1 was successfully demonstrated at last weekend's CommVEx. Here are some more details on the cart, straight from Fotios --

"I've manufactured around 50 of the FB-JumboCart PCB boards... It's the first version of the board that currently supports either 27c801 or 27c4001 style EPROMs populated with 8KB C64 cartridge ROM dumps.

I never sold any as I wasn't sure if it's something people would like to purchase. If there's interest, I was planning on selling these for under USD$30 (including a preburnt EPROM with ROMs..."
