What is Planned for the New Version of the C64 DTV?

Post by administrator »

I have been getting this question quite alot lately but I can not tell you very much other than Commodore is working in an expanded model with different games.

A new revision of this joystick hopefully will be out in the summer. We are hoping to expand its functionality substantially beyond that of a typical Atari style, games only joystick. However, there are several difficult engineering issues we are trying to resolve so in the end it may only be slightly more advanced that the others.

Any new information on a new C64 DTV? Is there still a new release planned for this summer? Are you involved with this project somehow?

Thanks :)

The last thing I discussed this with them, everything was on schedule but I will, check with C= as it has been a few months.

There are some delays but I will not have the full story for another week or so.

I will post the info when C= says I can, which I think will be another 5 or 10 days.

Sorry for the delay.

Add my name to the list of those eagerly awaiting any information you gather about a new C64DTV.
Call me Golan; my parents did.

Vapourware? Are they finding they can't pull this off without Jeri's involvement?

Yup, I'd say so.
