Jim Butterfield, Commodore programming guru, passed away on June 29. In honor of Jim, I will dig up video of him speaking at the Chicago Commodore Expo and/or video of one of his computer educational tapes. This will be shown at CommVEx.
Sincerely,
A video tribute to Jim Butterfield

Jim Butterfield
Hello All;
We have a "Jim" thread running in the general discussion forum viewtopic.php?t=1133
Hi Robert;
If you are able, I would love to obtain ANY version of ANY of Jim's content. I will convert it to the appropriate formats and post it. Is that possible?

Re: Jim Butterfield
Possible, yes, Ian. Give me a little bit of time to get it ready.administrator wrote:If you are able, I would love to obtain ANY version of ANY of Jim's content. I will convert it to the appropriate formats and post it. Is that possible?

Re: A video tribute to Jim Butterfield
At CommVEx on Sunday, I showed Jim Butterfield from the LUCKI Spring Expo 2005. The DVD-R was not in good condition... skipping of the video and sometimes the sound. I'll have to find the original Digital 8 tape and burn a new master DVD-R.I wrote:In honor of Jim, I will dig up video of him speaking at the Chicago Commodore Expo...

At the Vintage Computer Festival 10.0 on Nov. 4, I showed part of the reburned Jim Butterfield DVD and distributed some copies to the crowd.rbernardo wrote:At CommVEx on Sunday, I showed Jim Butterfield from the LUCKI Spring Expo 2005. Ian, I'm still waiting for you to get back to me on this (e-mail sent a few days ago). The reburned DVD is ready, and the video lasts 45 minutes.administrator wrote:If you are able, I would love to obtain ANY version of ANY of Jim's content. POSTED!
I have created a large selection of options for those who are interested in seeing the mighty Jim. See the bottom of:

Note that the large files are marked in bold and you would be wise to right click on them and select SAVE TARGET AS and save them to your desktop rather than attempting to play them through your browser.
