See Commodore/Amiga at Bay Area Maker Faire 2023

Post by rbernardo »

Sorry for the short notice (we were given last-minute approval), but we are exhibiting Commodore and Amiga computers at the Oct. 20-22 Bay Area Maker Faire at Mare Island Naval Shipyard (across from Vallejo), 560 Nimitz Ave. Mare Island, California, USA, Friday 11-6, Saturday and Sunday 10-6. Not only that but other classic computers may be shown at our tables, too!

More information can be found at

https://makerfaire.com/bay-area/

We are labeled as the Vintage Computer Festivalers [Project 75314], and our tables are next to Pandora FX: Special Makeup FX, in Zone 2, Coal Shed 3. See our part of our 2018 exhibit at

Duncan M. of The Other Group of Amigoids brought in a Tandy 1000 and a BBC Micro. Meanwhile, he got Animiga going on THEA500 Mini, so we are showing that one, too.

Wrong! Even though the website and the signage on our table said we are in Coal Shed 3, I discovered that we are in the red brick building to the right of Coal Shed 3. Thank goodness a friendly Maker showed me where our correct location was.
