Finding budget hotel rooms near the Living Computer Museum, our PaCommEx venue, is not easy. If you go to

you will find what is around the area. There are more affordable accommodations in the Sea-Tac area about 8 to 9 miles south of the LCM.

Re: Accommodations for PaCommEx
While I was in Seattle several days ago, I drove around the area of the Living Computers: Museum + Labs, our venue for PaCommEx. Located 2 miles to the south of the LCM + L is the nearest budget accommodations, the La Hacienda Hotel. Situated in a warehouse district, it seemed shabby from the outside, and I wouldn't trust the area at night. :/

I've booked my accommodations for PaCommEx. I will be at the Knight's Inn in Tukwila (SeaTac area), about 8 miles south of the Living Computer Museum. I arrive on Thursday, June 8, and check out on Monday, June 12. Total price for 4 nights - $269.76.
