No, I'm not talking about the permanent C= exhibits on the second floor of our venue, the Living Computer Museum. I'm talking about the computers that PaCommExers will be bringing to show and have the public try out. Because it will be the 35th anniversary of the Commodore 64, we should be concentrating on that computer. Here are the first computers for PaCommEx --
brown C64 (NTSC) with 1701/1702 monitor
Drean C64C (PAL-N) with Sony GVM-1311Q monitor
C64GS (PAL) with Sony GVM-1311Q monitor
C64C (PAL) with Magnavox LCD monitor

We mustn't forget that it is also the 40th anniversary of the Commodore PET. And so, also on exhibit will be a

On Facebook, another person wants to bring in a C128. I was thinking that if we have too many computer set-ups, the overflow can go into the classroom/break-out room.

I have asked the museum's Stephen J. to bring his Teacher's PET so that it can be displayed alongside the Educator 64. A one-two education punch!rbernardo wrote:Here are the first computers for PaCommEx --

It is also the 30th anniversary of the Amiga 500/2000. The museum already has an A500 on exhibit on the second floor, so I think we are covered there.

Hi,
I can provide a C-128DCR -- I have owned it since new (1989). LMK if this is of interest.
I can also provide a setup to play stereo SID tunes using a SID Symphony cartridge. I have a small amp and bookshelf speakers.

Sure, bring it along.kentsu wrote:I can provide a C-128DCR -- I have owned it since new (1989). LMK if this is of interest.
You could combine that with the C128DCR set-up, and so just bring one system. It would be good to have music playing continually or nearly continually.I can also provide a setup to play stereo SID tunes using a SID Symphony cartridge. I have a small amp and bookshelf speakers.
Take that, you museum-goers who don't know about SID music!

Can do. The display machines will be on standard-ish folding tables? And plenty of outlets?

Yes, 8-foot folding tables with many outlets. Of course, I have the Harbor Freight 12-outlet power strips that I use at CommVEx...

The Drean C64C and the C64C (PAL) are out. They have been replaced by a PET 4016, a VIC-20 (PAL), and a loaded Amiga 2000.rbernardo wrote:Here are the first computers for PaCommEx --
