Since we are using a new room, Ballroom 9, for CommVEx, some have asked for a floor plan in order to plan where to put tables, electrical cords, and A/V equipment. I've put up a floor plan (with notations from 5C's member Saj) at

Re: Floor plan for CommVEx v12
What do you expect to be the "load in" time for people who want to set things up on Friday? Not sure if that's been mentioned yet.
James and I are bringing two new attendees along for the ride this year, one of whom has never been to Vegas and the other who might be bringing some interesting curiosities for people to see. (Not sure what yet, but I know he's got some interesting stuff!) We'll be rolling in on Thursday night, so it would be great to know when on Friday we should be around to prepare and unload.
I remember last year that unloading started earlier than people knew, and there was a real crush for space. This year should be a lot better, but with four of us, we're going to want to try and get a spot that'll accommodate a small group. 2013 was crammed up under the projector, and 2015 was crammed four to a table up in front, so I'm just trying to cover my bases.

As mentioned in the thread, "Now in Las Vegas", we have been given Ballroom 8 also. For a photo of the expanded digs, seerbernardo wrote:...we are using a new room, Ballroom 9...

Sweet, that'll definitely work. Walked past the ballrooms tonight, looks like a Hefty manufacturing plant exploded on the walls. Hooray for construction discounts or freebies.
