Chip shop game: Building your own silicone empire

Post by chrisward »

Hello, I'm Chris, a developer based in Berlin. I'm currently creating a board game based on 1980's computers called Chip Shop.
In Chip Shop you play the head of a fledgling computer company in 1980s America striving for a piece of the action. You have a decade to make your mark, will it be for longevity, loyalty, units shifted or strike a balance between them all?

The game includes a series of cards which represent computers of the era. If anyone would like to get involved in the design of the game, play test or even throw around ideas, I'd love to hear from you. We welcome contributors. http://chipshopgame.com/contribute. The intention is open source many of the tools and resources used to create the game and allow for the community to create its own additions, or ‘patches’.

thanks
Chris
