Looks as if we'll have another SX-64 among the raffle prizes for next year.rbernardo wrote:Our prospective CommVExer wants to donate a SuperCPU 64 for a raffle prize.
Deja vous! We will have another 1581 for the raffle. Also after much discussion of whether to offer it at the November 4-5 Vintage Computer Festival or at CommVEx v3 2007, it was decided to raffle off our MSD SD-2 dual drive unit at CommVEx.rbernardo wrote:rbernardo wrote:Our prospective CommVExer wants to donate a SuperCPU 64 for a raffle prize. Just to reconfirm... the SuperCPU 64 has not been verified to be on our raffle list this year.rbernardo wrote:Our prospective CommVExer wants to donate a SuperCPU 64 for a raffle prize.
The SX-64 was a popular item in the raffle. 5C's member, Jeff Krantz, won it.I wrote:Looks as if we'll have another SX-64 among the raffle prizes for next year.
O.K., I forget who won the 1581, but the MSD SD-2 (another popular raffle prize) was won by Greg Alekel.I wrote:We will have another 1581 for the raffle. Yet another popular prize! Brian Green won this one.I wrote:The added prize is a C128D(CR).
Hmm, this prize never showed up. Larry, who was on vacation at the time of CommVEx, probably forgot.I wrote:A nice raffle prize has been added by Larry Lathrop of the Clark County Commodore Computer Club of Las Vegas. It is a boxed Zoomer flight yoke/steering wheel.
Bryan Hatton was fortunate to get this system which included a 1902 monitor and Star printer.I wrote:Charles Gutman of 8-Bit Designs will be giving a JiffyDossed C128/1571 system for the CommVEx raffle.
I wrote:On Friday I gathered up a bunch of door prizes (not to be confused with the paid-for raffle prizes). Just enter CommVEx room, and you can win a door prize. Hmm, I keep thinking that the 1750 ram expander should be a door prize (or should it be a raffle prize?).

Yeah, there were lots of little door prizes. Sunday I had to rush and give out the last of the bunch. In fact, I have one more to deliver (or mail) to the person.wiskow wrote:Unfortunately, I didn't win any of the raffles... But I did get a Partner 128 cartridge as a door prize, so at least I didn't go away empty-handed.
Last door prized given to Jeri Ellsworth at VCF X, who will then deliver the door prize to her friend.rbernardo wrote:In fact, I have one more to deliver (or mail) to the person.
