Friday night before CommVEx

Hey, if you have the time, join us in getting the CommVEx meeting room ready (oh, joy!). We'll be in Jockey Room #2, third floor of the Plaza Hotel. If you go into the gigantic Pinball Fantasy Show room, well, you've gone to the wrong place (or the right place, depending on your opinion!). Our room is the small, cozy one off to the side of the Pinball Fantasy.

Fun with keyboards, drives, cables, monitors,
and who knows what else,

I'm hoping to start setting up the room, beginning at 3 or 4 p.m. on Friday. That will give us enough time to work out any problems with the hotel before the staff leaves at 5.

For those who can't join us on Friday evening, the room will be open at 9 a.m. Saturday morning for set-up. Then the show starts at 11 a.m..

We got there at 4 on Friday afternoon and worked on the room until 11:30 p.m.. Several attendees came in to visit and schmooze. I had a midnight dinner and didn't go to sleep until 2 a.m. Saturday.

Got in at 9:30 a.m. into the room, and Paul Armstrong and Wayne *** from the 5C's club were already there. We barely got everything going by the 11 a.m. opening. The A500, A600, and A1200 Tower were not cooperating, and so the only Amiga was the CD32.

Hey, they worked at home!
