Next year's Def Con 20, the conference for hackers, and RollerCon 2012, the conference for roller derby enthusiasts, will fall on the same weekend as CommVEx v8 2012! Specifically, Def Con 20 is July 26-29, 2012, and RollerCon 2012 is July 25 - 29. Think of it... Commodore, hacking, and roller derby... attend one... CommVEx, of course... or attend all!

Other activities at CVX (Was: Def Con / RollerCon...)
Well, instead of making a new topic, I decided to list other activities here, along with Def Con and RollerCon.
If you're a gourmand (or just a regular foodie), Las Vegas is a mecca for all different kinds of restaurants. On the t.v. show, "Man vs. Food", from last night on the Travel Channel, the host recommended 3 places for mass quantities of tasty food. The first was Hash House a Go-Go ( http://www.hashhouseagogo.com/vegas/ ), where you can get a four-pound pancake or the equally humungous Fried Chicken Benedict. Second was Hot N Juicy Crawfish ( http://hotnjuicycrawfish.com ) in Chinatown, where you can get a bucket full of crawdads spiced at 6 different levels to your liking. Finally, there was the Nascar Cafe in the Sahara Hotel, where you could get a six-pound burrito; however, that restaurant has since closed.
Two out of three,
