Yes, you read right! Every attendee will be getting a party favor and a chance to win free software/hardware goodies from the vast FCUG storage facility.

Just spoke to Myron Daniels on the phone (he was a member
of the dissolved Commodore Hawaii Users Group). He wants
me to haul back flat C128's and 1571's to the mainland.
Because our storage space is nearly full, it seems
that these C128's and 1571's will be part of the
freebies offered at CommVEx. :-)

My thanks to Dave "Lord Ronin" Mohr of the Amiga-Commodore User Group of Astoria, Oregon, for donating original disks of Wolfman (a text adventure) and role-playing dice (!) for CommVEx. Seems that every attendee will get these, too. :-)

Received some more hardware/software from Coeur de Lane (sp?), Idaho. Treasurer Dick Estel will bring it to the show for distribution.

Lots of free software, books, and some hardware brought in by the 5C's. The door prizes given out on Saturday were this year's Herd/Haynie/Russell DVD package, an On the Edge book autographed by them, a 1764 ram expander.... (hmm, what else am I forgetting?)

Door prizes on Saturday were a flat C128, two 1571's, a 1581, and a Dragon Boy handheld game (!).
