With less than 2 months to go to the July 29-30 Commodore Vegas Expo,
we're planning for your fun and frivolity at the best West Coast show for
Commodore and Amiga. We're going to have more varied set-up's this year
for your computing pleasure -- VIC-20, Plus/4, Commodore 64/128, DTV, more
Amigas, and even a combination PAL C64/C64GS/Plus4/C128/DTV set-up (well,
they'll all have to use the same monitor if I get that Sony professional
monitor going). We have the Viva Las Vegas Compo for you programmers.
We even have use (tentatively) of a video projector to show the best
in our C= demonstrations. Plus there will be a few surprises! :-)

The Fresno Commodore User Group and the Clark County Commodore Computer
Club of Las Vegas will work hard to make this sophomore effort the best
C= show on the West Coast of the United States. See our other CommVEx
themes for answers to your questions.

We will have a PAL exhibit at CommVEx with a PAL C64, PAL 64GS, PAL Plus/4, and PAL C64 DTV running through a NTSC/PAL combination monitor. (Hard to say whether I can squeeze into the car the PAL plastic C128D.) :)

The plan is to have an A1200 Tower (OS 3.9), classic A500 (switchable OS 1.3/3.1), and a CD32 (OS 3.0). However, they may all have to share the same monitor. :-)

Hey, we're running out of table space!

How silly of me... I forgot to include the A600 in the list (probably no room in the car to bring along an A2000 Video Toaster).

Oh-oh, I've been running out of room in the car. Something had to go, and so, there won't be a PAL 64, Plus/4, and plastic C128D. The PAL DTV and 64GS remain.

We have lost the use of a video projector. Craig Ernster was to bring one, but he has cancelled out of the show.

We'll go to Fry's Electronics today or tomorrow and see if we can find a cheap VGA-to-composite converter for those presenters who wish to use their laptops with the 27-inch composite t.v./monitor we now have.

Fortunately, the laptops that the attendees used for their presentations had S-video outputs, and so, we connected those laptops to the t.v./monitor with just a simple S-video cable. And what a t.v. it was! Yul Haasman had brought over a 27-inch (or was it 30-inch?) HDTV.
