Forrest Nettles passes away

Forrest Nettles, vice-president and then president of the Clark County Commodore Computer Club (of Las Vegas), passed away on Oct. 7, 2019. An enthusiastic Commodore fan, he was a supporter of the Commodore Vegas Expo in the early-to-mid 2010's. He even roped me into bringing Commodores and Amigas to the last Las Vegas Classic Gaming Expo in 2014! 
I remember him huffing and puffing to bring his equipment to that show, how he complained how his back was killing him, and then spending most of his time trying to keep his gear running.
He liked going to other non-computer Las Vegas shows, too, like the annual National Association of Broadcasters show and the Creation Star Trek Convention (inviting me to the former and showing me where to get cheap tickets for the latter).
Though we had grown distant, I remember how friendly and generous he was in those earlier times.
