Now in Las Vegas

Post by rbernardo »

I arrived into Las Vegas this morning and am staying for the weekend at the Howard Johnson Hotel on Tropicana Ave.. On Monday I move on over to the Tahiti Village Resort for the rest of my stay.

A grueling drive last night,

It took me all afternoon to move into the Tahiti Village Resort, but, boy... what a place! Coming from the plain Howard Johnson Hotel to the upscale Tahiti is quite a change! Way past my pay grade...! ;) The rooms have fine furnishings, a soft bed, a quiet environment, and activities (should you choose to be active). I'm in room 5538, Tower 5. It's a long walk down the long corridors.

However, the AT&T wi-fi is giving fits of slowness and then speediness. :(

With the car parked in the shadiness of the parking garage,

I'm still editing video and burning CD's in preparation for CommVEx. Tomorrow morning I load up the car with the Commodore and Amiga goods, drive across town, and open up the CommVEx room at 2 p.m.. Then begins the many hours of set-up.

Truly,
