At yesterday's FCUG meeting, we members brainstormed some presentations for CommVEx this year. More or less decided...

Modding the Plus/4 - You'll learn how to make your Commodore Plus/4 run more efficiently, run cooler, and extend its life, by using various hardware mods. Also, how to add a NTSC/PAL switch to the Plus/4.

Revisionist Gaming on the Commodore - FCUG v.p. Roger will show the latest in gaming on the C64 and VIC-20 - past games that have been updated to the most modern techniques

Thanks, FCUG members for the ideas!

Truly,

From yesterday's meeting of the Southern California Commodore & Amiga Network, we may have two CommVEx newcomers who are interested in coming to the show - Sev and Bogdan. Sev might be bringing in his sweet Amiga 1200 system to show everybody. I'll have to confirm more at the March SCCAN meeting.

With Kent Sullivan and Bryan Minugh of Dr. Evil Laboratories doing a presentation on the classic Swiftlink-232 at our sister show, the June Pacific Commodore Expo NW, there will be video of that presentation. This video will be shown at CommVEx! Unless Kent and Bryan want to present in-person at CommVEx, too. :)

Yeah, they were invited to CommVEx,

This presentation has been changed to a full-fledged exhibit -- a modded Plus/4, ready for attendees to use, and an unmodded Plus/4 with all the pertinent chips and crystals ready to install. See
