Met with Al Jackson of the 5C's today and looked over his equipment that I'm going to bring into the venue tomorrow. Then went to the the shops in N. Las Vegas and made photocopies and got supplies for CommVEx. Mmm, dinner at Burger King and play time at the Pinball Museum!

Back at the Rodeway Inn,

The CommVEx room opened up early today for set-up -- 2:20 p.m.!

Writing from the room,

Bil Herd came by to visit for a few minutes in the early evening. He'll be back for a 1 p.m. talk on Saturday and hang with us for the rest of the weekend. He invited Leonard Tramiel to come in at 1 p.m., too. We finally got out of the CommVEx room at tonight at 1:20 a.m..

Remember the room is open at 7 a.m. for set-up, and the show officially begins at 11 a.m..

Catching 3 hours of sleep,

CommVEx was fantastic! Unfortunately, I'm stuck in Las Vegas, because the person with whom I was sharing accommodations left with my vehicle keys! Yes, the truck sits fully loaded but cannot move. I've e-mailed the person to express mail the keys to me so I can get out of here!

I finally left Vegas yesterday at 3:15 p.m..
