With all the C= items that I'm picking up in Europe, some of them will be presented at CommVEx. Most definitely, it looks like Cassiopei, the storage device for C= bit computers that have a cassette port, will get its day to shine at CommVEx.

Back from the Netherlands C= Show,

Hi Robert,

My hardware project is nearing fruition and I would like to present it at CommVex. I'm working on a replacement motherboard for a C64 B-3 that will fit into a standard ATX case with an ATX power supply. The prototype board is in my hands and I'm working to get completed it ready for the convention. Hopefully I can have it ready for operation at the convention to demonsrate. The goal is to build some boards that would be socketed and modular that would extend the life of C64 systems with more modern power supplies.

Very interesting. However, I don't understand your reference to C64 B-3.

Back from Europe,

Back from Europe,
Sorry, I should have been more specific. I'm using the schematic for the B-3 rev C64 board #250466 as the basis for my board schematic. The B-3 board was the cost/part reduced board found in the early C64c's.

Leif now has more exact information on his presentation. He will speak about his motion-sensing gaming glove, his Vortex network game, and the TPUG Library CD.

Keith Henrickson has confirmed that he will be attending the show. If you have any questions about his C64 apps for the iPAD and/or iPOD, ask him while he's there.

As usual, we had a few extra, surprise presentations. Thanks go to those who put them on. I'll have all the presentations up on Youtube as soon as possible.

Still in Las Vegas until Sunday,
