Just picked up the AmigaOne on Thursday from Chelmsford, Essex, England. Had it preliminarily tested at the SEAL club meeting in Wickford, Essex on Friday, and except for a sound problem (due to not having the latest version of the OS 4.0?), it's running fine. The only problem now is to bring it back to America in good shape.

A few days ago in England, I picked up the extremely modded PAL C64 DTV. In its new casing, it really needs a C= label applied. :-)

The AmigaOne is now disassembled. Motherboard in anti-static bag and packed in a shipping box, graphics card in another anti-static bag as is the sound card, RAM, and hard drive.

Leaving for the Netherlands in a few hours,

After the Commodore Scene meeting of June 24, Shaun Bebbington handed over a very low serial-numbered PAL VIC-20 to me. The two-pin power connector looks different than the one used here in North America, but I will bring it back. If I can get it to run, then it will be at CommVEx v4, running the PAL version of the Behr-Bonz games multicart.

Add to the list the Plus/4-specific Commodore 1551 disk drive in box with instruction manual.

The AmigaOne G4 has been reassembled into a new mid-tower case and is running a.o.k.. Still need some optical drives and a nice keyboard and mouse for it, but by CommVEx time, it should be ready. It's running OS 4.0 beta from January, 2006, but in the future 4.0 Final will get on it and even 4.1.

Come play with it,

Unfortunately, the extremely-modded PAL DTV would not display, though it did power up.

Justin Pope from Tucson brought 3 set-ups, two high-powered A1000s (one with Rejuvenator board and OS 3.1 and A1000 Sidecar!) and an A2000 running a 68040, 32 megs of RAM, OS 3.9, and Video Toaster.

Yow!
