Working Kim-1 wanted

Post by todloofbourrow »

Looking to buy a working Kim-1.

My name is Tod Loofbourrow. In 1977/78, I built a robot called Microtron (Mike) and wrote a book called How to Build a Computer Controlled Robot, which ended up galvanizing the home robotics movement and inspiring the iRobot Roomba. After 44 years of searching, I now have the original robot back and want to return it to its former glory. Unfortunately, my original Kim-1 no longer works. I would love to find one which does work, and purchase it with great gratitude from its owner. Mike and I would both appreciate any help here.

- Tod
