A/V capabilities at the LCM + L

(for those who need to know the specifics of the audio-visual equipment and connections at the Living Computers: Museum + Labs)

Living Computer Museum and Labs
First Floor Audio/Visual System Capabilities

Main Exhibit Hall: Features are ready to be used unless marked with an (*) below. Those features require some additional manual setup.
- Panansonic DWU850GS Laser projector with 165” diagonal screen
- (2) A/V inputs for sound and video content
o HDMI and VGA inputs supporting resolutions up to 1920x1200
o Scales both 16:9 (HD) and 16:10 (WUXGA) content
o Displayport and DVI ready (requires adapter cable)
o Analog audio inputs on 3.5mm (1/8”) headphone jack
- Background/DJ music input on dual RCA, or 3.5mm (1/8”) headphone jack
- BluRay disc player (plays DVD as well)
- Flown live sound system comprised of (4) Meyer Sound UPJ-1XP trapezoidal cabinets and (2) Meyer Sound UMS subwoofers
- (2) Sennheiser wireless handheld microphones
- (4) Shure Beta 58 Dynamic Cardoid microphones*
- (4) microphone inputs for hard wired microphones*
- (2) analog audio tielines for press, conference, and streaming feeds*
- Mackie DL806 mixer with DSP and iPad control*
- (2) Meyer Sound UP-4XP side fill monitors, mounted on columns*
- iPad AV control GUI with intuitive AV control, including volume and source switching

Labs: Features are ready to be used unless marked with an (*) below. Those features require some additional manual setup. All Labs have the same capabilities.

- (1) Sennheiser wireless lavalier microphone with belt-pack
- (1) Sennheiser wireless headset microphone with belt-pack
- iPad AV control GUI with intuitive AV control, including volume and source switching


Note: All Labs and the Main Exhibition Hall can have their AV content linked together and shown in all four rooms, with one room designated as a Master for control.
They can be linked in any combination. (i.e. MEH and Lab A, Labs A&B, Labs A&C, MEH and Lab B, etc.)

The A/V capabilities of the LCM + L remain the same for this year's PaCommEx.

Where is my S-video-to-HDMI adapter? :)
