For some reason I can't find a copy of Merlin 128. It was never copy protected so I dont know why it can't be found. Anyone have a copy they can share or tell me where I can download?

I purchased Roger Wagner Publishing's Merlin 128 from Software City in 1987 for the low, low price of $59.46 plus tax (about $130 in 2018 dollars).

I still have the complete boxed set today.

I have a working SX-64 and an external 1541, so I COULD do a disk-to-disk copy. However, I've been reluctant to spin up the original floppies from 30+ years ago, risking irreparable damage to their magnetic states. I wonder if anyone has attempted to recover data from ancient floppies using non-contact magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE) imaging? Although the effort and expense of converting my microscope to MOKE and then physically imaging these old floppies is not a priority for me, it seems like a natural for the preservation community. I wonder if anyone in the community is doing this?

Does anyone else have thoughts on recovering the data from a 31 year old floppy without the risk of damaging it?
