Commodore.ca: The PET, VIC, 128, 64 & More Forum

I'm building a small wind tunnel and I want to try interfacing my old Commodore PET 4016 with the sensors. To do this, I would like to try interfacing with the user port, however I haven't been able to find any literature on building or programming with that interface. Does anyone know some good resources for both building an interface and programming to use the port?
