Hi there!
I am new here in this forum, i recently got a CBM 8032 , (the european version of the PET?) after cleaning everything carefully and trying it, the computer itself works perfectly, but the floppy doesnt.... I have to say I dont know anything about the CBM or Commodore in generall, I know about old computers but these were IBM PCs. The floppy has the following problems
1. it seems the motor is always running, and it doesnt sound very good
2. if i type DLOAD, the computer doesnt seem to understand the command
As you can see, I dont really know about the Commodore Basic, do I have to write something else behind dload ? or is it the wrong command in general?
Thanks for reading, and sorry for my english, i am from switzerland

Perhaps Rob Clarke can help you. He is quite a technician and lives in Switzerland, too.

Hi Bernardo thank you for your answer, is Rob also a user of this forum? And another question, does it make a difference, which port I use to plug in the floppydrive? and could I also use a datasette on the cbm8032?
